Di Li Feng
b. 1958

Professor Di Li-Feng is a member of the faculty at Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shen-Yang City, Liaoning Province and a member of the Chinese Artists Association. Professor Di was born in Jinzhou, Liaoning Province in 1958. He attended the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and graduated from that institution with a postgraduate degree in 1990.

In 1995, Professor Di exhibited his work at the China Fine Arts Museum in Beijing. In recognition of the excellence of his work, several of his paintings have been entered into the museum's permanent collection. In 1997, Professor Di's work was exhibited in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

Professor Di's oil panels "The Imperial Family of the Qing Dynasty" and "The Orient without Evil" are recognized in both China and Hong Kong as modern masterpieces. These studies of the aristocracy of the last dynasty have been praised for their intimate portrayal of the individuals who shaped China's past. His portraits of Qing Dynasty noblewomen combine historical accuracy and imagination into a luxurious vision of the ladies who inhabited the royal court.
